Corberán: "The team had the necessary attitude and commitment"

Valencia CF coach Carlos Corberán gave a press conference after the victory against CD Eldense in the 2024/25 Copa del Rey.

“The team played with the necessary attitude to advance to the next round. That was the objective. I have seen the commitment to achieve it. We have to use each match and training session to continue taking steps towards the identity we want to build.”

“I have seen an adequate level of predisposition from all the players. They have taken a step forward in their growth, all of them. No one has been below the demands of the match. I liked the performance from the players who started and those who came on. It was important to increase the number of players for the team. These matches help to homogenise and take a step forward as a group to achieve our goals.”

“After the goal, there was a moment when we suffered more than we wanted in our own half, and in the second period we were better.
